Introducing Envelopes
We’re excited to share Documenso 2.0 with you. This release marks the end of our enterprise sprint that’s been running for most of the year.
After adding Organizations, SSO, Self-Hosting, more whitelabeling, and major security and compliance updates, we’re wrapping up with one of the most requested features yet: envelopes. Envelopes let you send multi-document signature packages, enabling more complex workflows on the platform.
To support that, we rebuilt the document editor from the ground up. It’s faster, more intuitive, and much cleaner, tying together the many features we launched over the past year.
API V2 Is Now Stable
Alongside the new editor, we’re fully releasing API V2. It includes envelope support and simpler one-step document uploads, replacing the old two-step process.
We’re marking API V1 as stable but deprecated. If you’re integrated with V1, nothing breaks. It will remain supported for the foreseeable future, but all new functionality will go to V2.
Documenso 2.0 is more than just a release. With it, we consider Documenso fully enterprise ready and scalable, something we’ve been working toward since day one. Even more exciting, finishing this project unblocks us to ship new features much faster.
